First Chapter Critique.
The opening pages to your novel are so important. Is your novel starting in the right place? Does it hook your reader? Is the main character and central conflict introduced? Is the world-building balanced?
This service offers an evaluation of big picture elements within your first chapter (up to 4,000 words). You can expect in-line comments and an editorial letter.
Flat rate: $30
Developmental Edits.
Usually the first round of edits, this is a big picture analysis of your story where I focus on world building, characters, and plot.
